Can you renew Nexus after it expires?

Renewing your NEXUS card membership is very similar to the original application process. It is recommended to do it approximately 180 days prior the expiration date of your current nexus card. If your NEXUS pass has already expired, there is nothing to worry about. You do not need to start from the beginning.

How long does it take for Nexus renewal to be reviewed?

Please note that processing times vary by applicant, but on average you can expect your application to be processed for Global Entry and FAST within 6 months, SENTRI 12 months and NEXUS 6 months. This includes vehicle enrollments. The vetting process cannot be expedited.
