Do I need to change address on Nexus card?

NEXUS members can access the Trusted Traveler Programs ( TTP ) System to update a mailing address change and passport information that is already on file. Please note that NEXUS members are not required to report to an Enrolment Centre to update or change their passport information with the CBSA.

Who qualifies for Nexus?

You must be a citizen or permanent resident of Canada or the U.S., or a Mexican national who is also a member of the Viajero Confiable program. Permanent residents of Canada and the U.S. must have resided as legal residents of Canada or the U.S. for a minimum of three years before the day of application.

Can a US citizen apply for a Nexus card?

U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, Canadian citizens, Canadian lawful permanent residents and Mexican nationals who are members of Mexico's trusted traveller program, Viajero Confiable are eligible to apply for membership in the U.S./Canada NEXUS program.

If you are a permanent resident the USA (a green card holder) or Canada (PR Card holder), you may be eligible to apply for a NEXUS Card. You must have lived continuously in the US or Canada (the country you are a permanent resident of) for at least 3 years.

Does Nexus include TSA PreCheck?

Global Entry, NEXUS, and SENTRI are programs of U.S. Customs and Border Protection. These programs offer travel benefits to pre-screened members. If you join Global Entry, NEXUS, or SENTRI, use your membership number as a “known traveler number” in airline reservations to receive TSA PreCheck®.

How do I update my address on my Nexus card?

Yes. If the mailing address that you originally submitted for the NEXUS/SENTRI/Global Entry program has changed, you can login to your GOES account to update it. On the welcome screen on the left hand side you will see a link to update your Mail-to Address.

What does Nexus only mean?

NEXUS is a voluntary program that allows members to travel more easily between Canada and the United States of America (USA). NEXUS members can use dedicated lanes and electronic stations to cross the border and immigration areas at certain airports.

What is the nexus interview like?

The NEXUS interview varies between NEXUS enrollment centers but is similar to clearing customs at the airport. Your interview will take 30 minutes and takes place at the enrollment center of your choice. You will be interviewed twice; once by a customs officer from the USA and again by one from Canada.

Can I get Nexus card with criminal record?

Nexus allows easy access to the US through border control but in order to receive a Nexus card you cannot have a criminal record.

Can I use Nexus to enter US from Europe?

Nexus can clearly be used at participating Canadian Preclearance airports to enter the US and you get the Global Entry Benefits. ... Nexus gets you into the fast lane when entering Canada from USA by air/water/land. Global Entry does not give you that benefit.

Can I use Nexus card instead of passport?
